Brittany Minard
The Morning Journey, Program Director, Social Media/Web Manager
Brittany previously worked in TV after graduating from Liberty University in 2012. After graduation, she went to her hometown of Chesapeake, Virginia to work at WTKR. In 2013 She came back to Lynchburg, where she was the host of Living in the Heart of Virginia, on ABC 13. In 2016, she graduated with a master’s degree in Strategic Communications from Liberty University. Brittany is thankful that God gave her the opportunity to become a part of The Journey.
Brittany and her husband Phil were married in 2013. They just welcomed their first child, a baby girl named Stella. They have enjoyed making Lynchburg their home and truly love the Lynchburg community.
Brittany loves being outdoors and taking on new challenges. Hiking, kayaking, and scaling buildings, are some of her hobbies! You can often find her trying new foods or cheering on her favorite sports teams.

Mark Edwards
General Manager, Production Director, The Morning Journey
Mark grew up in a broadcaster's home, so he has been involved in radio/TV his entire life. His parents are Jerry and Fay. Mark has a sister Melanie, brother-in-law Kyle, and ge enjoys being an uncle to Emily and Olivia.
In college, Mark worked as an overnight and weekend DJ. He then moved into radio news as a reporter and eventually News Director. From there Mark became a Production Director and now works as a Production Dir. and Assistant Program Dir. at The Journey!
Mark loves spending time with family and occasionally getting in a round of golf. Maybe one day he will become a dog owner; for some reason, everyone seems to think he needs one!
Hometown: Moved around a lot as a kid. So Canton, Ohio and Lynchburg, VA are her “Hometowns”
