- Giving Online:
Giving online may be the easiest way to give. Just click the “button”Become a Journey Partner” button to make your gift. You can make a one-time donation or increase your impact by becoming a monthly donor. - Giving by Mail:
To give through the mail, please send gifts to the The Journey, 3700 Candlers Mountain Road Suite F, Lynchburg, VA 24502, make checks payable to The Journey, and include your name and mailing address so we can send you a proper tax receipt.
The Journey is grateful to be an affiliate of Liberty University. Though 100% of our partner’s support goes to our radio ministry, Liberty’s Development Department partners with us to help facilitate our donors giving. Their team is ready and able to help process any gift to The Journey. Again, your donation will only go to support The Journey.
- For gifts of stocks, securities, property, annuities, bequests, and other legacy giving:
We ask that you call Liberty’s Planned Giving Department at your convenience by phone at 800-543-5309 or email at PlannedGiving@Liberty.edu. Their team will be happy to answer any potential questions you have, assist you in setting up the donation properly with your broker or bank, and will ensure everything is recorded and allocated according to your specifications. Just mention that you would like your donation to go to The Journey. - Stocks and Securities:
Your wise investment may be reinvested in The Journey. The securities will be transferred into the university’s gift account at its brokerage firm. Your broker initiates the gift transfer, and the shares are delivered electronically to the Liberty University brokerage account. Your gift is considered complete on the date the stock is received and a tax receipt will be sent out accordingly. - Gift of Property:
By donating property to The Journey, you can help share the hope of Christ with others! The property gift of a home, land, commercial property, or investment property also provides tax benefits. The Journey may choose to use the property directly or we may sell the property at full market value and use the funds to support your chosen cause. All gifts of property must be approved by Real Estate Committee and abide by the Gift Acceptance Policy. - Gift Annuities:
Are you looking to convert some of your property (such as cash or stock) into a fixed income for now and the future? You may be tired of living at the mercy of the fluctuating stock and real estate markets. One solution is a charitable gift annuity. A charitable gift annuity is a contract between you and The Journey (Liberty University). You transfer cash and/or securities to us. In exchange, we pay you a fixed income for life. The fixed income can be quite high depending on your age. A portion of your income stream may even be tax-free. You will receive a charitable deduction for your gift of the remainder to The Journey and the satisfaction of furthering our mission. - Bequests:
A charitable bequest is one of the easiest and most flexible ways that you can leave a gift to The Journey that will make a lasting impact. Bequests include wills or revocable trusts, retirement beneficiary assignments, and life insurance policies. - For wire transfers, ACH, and in-kind donations:

Their team will be happy to answer any potential questions you have, assist you in setting up the donation properly, and will ensure everything is recorded and allocated according to your specifications, be sure to mention that you want your donation to go 100% to The Journey.- ACH: The Automated Clearing House (ACH):
ACH is a great automatic way to support The Journey. It is easier and faster than sending a check, and after setting up the ACH, it can transfer automatically until you chose to end the process. - Wire Transfer:
A wire transfer is one of the most secure ways to support The Journey. It is a direct transfer of funds from your financial accounts to ours. - In-Kind:
In-kind donations are non-monetary donations. They are a special way our supporters can make an impact on our listeners’ lives. In-kind donations can be goods or services and are available for tax benefits.
- ACH: The Automated Clearing House (ACH):
You may choose to partner with The Journey with a one-time gift, or on a monthly basis. If you would like to change your monthly giving to E-Check, it is simple to do so. Just email our business manager Susan White at skwhite1@liberty.edu.
