Tiffany Bradbury is The Journey’s Hometown Hero!
She was nominated by Marci Stone. Here’s the letter.
“Tiffany Bradbury, Roanoke Fire-EMS Department’s Public Information Officer and Community Risk Reduction Specialist, should be The Journey Hometown Hero.
In her position she is the one that helps identify and nominate our field firefighter/ems personnel for awards. Her role is not a responder in the field so it is often overlooked, however she serves our community in such a powerful way by doing outreach, prevention and public education. She touches so many lives in her work. Tiffany is a shining star and is always a positive force within our team always going beyond the expectations of her role. She is so complementary of our responders when sharing news with the public and always paints our profession in such a positive light, even when the topic may be dark.
She is a Christian and she is never afraid to let her light shine, I have often seen her bow her head and have a prayer with co-workers that may be struggling. She is a devoted mother, wife, and co-worker. She never looks for recognition but deserves every bit of accolades that she gets. She is an amazing asset to us and I am glad to not only call her peer but friend!”
